Wooden Georgian Mantels
Georgian Fire Surrounds can be very simple and restrained or have corbels to support the shelf, dentil moulding under the shelf or frieze, roundel decoration at the top of the legs and reeded legs and frieze. A rounded extruded frieze is also a common feature.
PLEASE NOTE that these photographs do not show the exact colour shade of the mantels.
If customers require a specific colour it is better to choose an unwaxed finish that we can stain and wax to any supplied colour sample.
The Barrel
